Fan Reviews for 'Everything and More'

"Billy's not a little boy anymore. We were delighted with the 'grown up' voice of Billy. He has retained his beautiful talent with a deeper, more mature voice with strength behind it. We are fans of Billy's since 'One Voice' and it is SO nice to have his music in all the stages of his maturity. Keep on singing, Billy. We love you!"

Amazing return for Billy!!
"Billy Gilman has never sounded better or more focused as an artist. Each song on this CD could be a single. 'Everything and More,' the title track is an instant classic and a song we'll be hearing people get married to for years to come. Thank you Billy for your amazing voice and inspiring music!!"

Vocal Magic
"The vocal changes in each song show what Billy can do. I played the CD over and over again. It's classical, country, pop, rock, gospel. Great mix, what Billy can do with these songs. And when does them live - wow oh wow. Many thanks CD Universe. Ring radio stations for more airplay of 'Everything and More.' Billy starts easy and builds on each song till the end with 'Awaken the Music.' Great CD. Don't play it once - play it again and it gets better. Roll out the next CD. Hope Billy does a live show on CD and DVD."

"I was in awe when I first heard it. I wondered when he was going to record another album. I loved it. He really sang his heart, mind and soul on this album. I am continuing to play the last song over and over again. It really awakened me."

Best Billy Gilman Album!
"There's nothing much I can say about this album but, Wow. This album blows my mind. It really has the emotion and depth in the tracks that will make it an instant classic. Half of this CD is great love ballads which anybody can enjoy, particularly 'Everything and More,' 'Coming Home' and 'Is Anybody Out There?' The other half is composed of more uptempo songs that are easy to get addicted to like 'Hey Little Suzie' and 'Two Words, Three Hearts, One Kiss' and songs that are consisting of different genres like bluegrass, pop, and even classical. 'Peaceable Kingdom,' 'Missed You on Sunday' and 'Awaken the Music' are clear examples of how much depth is in this album. In my opinion, this works for the better of the album as it doesn't turn into a one-speed ride, but rather a roller coaster with plenty of different tempos, melodies, and rhythms, all sung by the one and only Billy Gilman. Billy has had it rough these past times, not being able to tour and make new albums due to vocal rest, but he's back now and better than ever. To me, Billy has recorded an album that will be remembered (hopefully) forever."

A New Beginning
" 'Everything and More' is an amazing CD. The music is very well arranged and Gilman's voice has changed very well. His young voice was unique, but his mature voice is even more unique. He knows how to use it, and it's pleasant to listen to. It's not too high and not too deep. If all things are meant to be, it makes you wonder why Gilman's (who finds his passion in singing) voice took more than 2 years to change, when most boys' voices only take a few weeks. 'Everything and More' tells us why - stop wondering. To create a voice as pure as this, it takes some time. 'Hey Little Suzie' - perfect song to start the album with. It's a cute song about a young boy who's in love with a young girl, and vice versa, but they both don't know this about each other. 'Everything and More' - the title track and first single. It's a love song, but it could be so much more. This is the kind of song that everybody can give their own meaning to. 'Peaceable Kingdom' - nice, easy and laid-back song about the 'peaceable kingdom' portraits by Edward Hick. The song, especially the chorus, gives you a warm feeling on a rainy day. 'Coming Home' - very slow ballad, and probably THE love ballad of the album. Gilman does an incredible job with the high notes on this song. When you compare this to 'Spend Another Night' on his first CD, it really shows that he has gotten older and has more feeling and emotion for his songs. 'Is Anybody Out There?' - powerful song about the war in Iraq. Song is written from the hopeful perspective rather than the sad perspective. A war song that stands out from the rest for its hopeful and powerful message. 'Looked Into the Wings' - this song is dedicated to Gilman's vocal coach and personal manager since he was only 8 years of age - Angela Bacari. The song is very emotional and Gilman's voice makes it even more so. 'Three Words, Two Hearts, One Kiss' - a fun and peppy song about a simple teen love. Gilman doesn't sing this song - he lives it. No matter how amazing he is on ballads, this song really shows that singing peppy songs comes more natural to him. 'Pray for Him' - perfect song for the sixteen-year-old singer who's known for his inspirational songs. It tells the story of a teenage boy messing up and feeling out of place in the world. Every teenager feels unloved and alone sometimes, and this song captures the feeling. Gilman sings from the younger brother perspective, and even though he is the older brother in real life, he sings this song with an enormous credibility. 'I'm Not Me Anymore' - the title says it all. The melody of the song makes your emotions so much stronger. It's one of those songs you have to play out very loud. The back-up singers make the song even more powerful. 'Missed You on Sunday' - kind of the fun and up-tempo version of 'Pray for Him.' This, again, is about being a teenager. The title makes you think it's a ballad, but it's really about Gilman's friend rebelling and not going to church. The song falls into the fun category and most teens will wish their parents looked at them from Gilman's perspective in this song. 'Something 'Bout Heaven' - not a love song, not a life song. It's a peppy, funky and cute song about living your life and enjoying every minute, yet it features lines where he's singing about loving a girl. Clever move, 'cause these two messages slightly combined is what makes most artists sell so well. 'Awaken the Music' - once composed by Mozart, Gilman now sings about the music in his life. It has slow parts and tongue-trick parts, and it's one of those songs that will blow right off the stage when he's performing it live."
